Doors
Supply and fit of internal and external doors — hung true, latched and finished with quality handles, hinges and locks.

A door is a quick job to do badly and a skilled one to do well. Each door is planed to suit its opening, hung to an even gap all round, hinged so it swings true and latched so it closes with a click rather than a slam. If the frame has had a hard life, the linings and stops are packed and squared first.
Internal doors in oak, pine or primed panel styles; external doors in hardwood or composite, fitted with proper weather seals and secure locks. Fire doors are hung with the right gaps, intumescent strips and closers where the regulations call for them.
There is a saving in hanging several doors in one visit — the setup is much the same whether it is one door or eight. Ironmongery can be supplied new or reused, and every door leaves with its handles, latch and hinges aligned, tightened and working sweetly.
